Ryan is a shareholder and litigation attorney at Sheehan Phinney, where he represents closely held businesses, municipalities, and institutional clients in high-stakes commercial disputes throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He has more than 13 years of litigation experience.
A former federal law clerk and AmLaw 100-trained litigator, Ryan handles complex commercial disputes, investment fraud, contract and corporate litigation, employment matters, and bankruptcy-related litigation. He has secured dismissals through dispositive motion practice and achieved meaningful results for clients across a broad range of commercial disputes.
Ryan also represents parties before the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission in ratemaking disputes, asset transfer approvals, and related proceedings - combining regulatory knowledge with the strategic instincts of a seasoned commercial litigator.
An experienced courtroom advocate, Ryan distills complex financial and technical issues into clear, persuasive arguments - earning the trust of corporate executives, business owners, and municipal leaders when the stakes are high.
